indentAn early commission was to make a model of an actual 19th century pub for a fellah from Essex. v He wanted a team of people to make a model of one of the stations on the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway and this was my chance to impress him!v Unfortunately, when I delivered the model he only offered to pay me for about half the time it had taken so I accepted his offer and sold him the pub but I refused to do anymore work for him.v After dealings with him and a few like him over the years I adopted the policy I have used for the last 15 years of "first we agree a price, then you pay; then I make the model"! vSimple and effective!
